Our Approach to Mitigating Chiller Noise
Chiller noise from a recently installed unit posed a potential disturbance to nearby residents, prompting the need for an effective and aesthetically pleasing noise control solution. Our team delivered a cost-effective answer: a robust acoustic screen constructed with thoroughly tested panels designed to meet BS EN ISO 140 standards for noise reduction. The screen also featured access doors and durable polyester powder paint, which was supported by galvanised steelwork. Measuring 7.5m wide x 4.5m high x 15.5m long, the screen covered an area of 135m². We managed the complete design, manufacture, and installation, including all aspects of structural steelwork and the contract lift crane operations.
